Why Treat the Soil Against Termites Before Building and Pouring Concrete?

Houses, buildings, and commercial spaces should be treated for termites before construction begins and the structure is erected.

The main objective of these treatments is to prevent roots or materials containing cellulose under the construction site, especially where concrete slabs will be poured, from becoming susceptible to termites later on. Once construction is completed, these areas are much more difficult to access, often requiring drilling through concrete to treat.
