We treat the house inside, where we apply special and effective chemicals against termites, which are transported with hoses for greater efficiency and quality of work.

SOME SIGNS OF A TERMITE INFESTATION:

Although termites are only about one centimeter long, their eating habits can cause very costly damage to properties as they can ruin and destroy the foundations and facade of a house in just a few years. The destructive work of termites may not be noticeable during the first 5 years of infestation, and by then it could be too late. The house's foundations, furniture, shelves, books, carpets, and insulation materials are all potential food sources for termites.

  • Sagging floors, wood openings, and hollow parts in the foundations
  • A swarm of winged insects inside or outside your home.
  • Wood that sounds hollow when tapped.
  • Mud tubes on exterior walls, wooden beams, or in crawl spaces and piled wings are serious warning signs of termites.

There are two types of termites that could infest your home:

Subterranean Termites

Subterranean termites live in moist soil, making them invisible to the naked eye as they attack wooden structures destructively. They are considered the most damaging because they dig tunnels under the moist soil, which are not always visible, causing damage to the wood beneath the house without you even noticing.

Drywood Termites

Drywood termites are visible and leave traces such as sawdust, holes in the wood, trails, and swarms around openings in infested wood, especially after rain.

When a termite colony matures, swarms of winged termites can be seen around windows and doors. Winged termites are strongly attracted to light sources and are most active in the spring. After mating, these termites find new sites to nest and create new colonies, expanding the infestation.

Because of this, we recommend that at the first signs or evidence of termites, you contact a termite fumigation expert. They are the best equipped to eliminate these troublesome insects before it's too late.

While there is a debate about the effectiveness of chemical products compared to natural treatments, successfully eliminating termites depends on the type of termite, the moisture level of the soil around the house, the type of building, and the nature of the insulating materials used in the home.

WE ALSO SELL PRODUCTS FOR YOU TO TREAT YOUR HOME YOURSELF: Products to control termites

We offer 3 types of treatments depending on the type of termite and the issue your house or property has:

Drywood Termite Fumigation (With Tent)

This treatment involves covering the house with a tent and then releasing a gas that kills drywood termites, which are very common in Florida.

Liquid Treatment for Subterranean Termites (No Tent Required)

This treatment does not require a tent. It involves digging a trench around the house and applying a liquid product to eliminate and repel termites around the area. Additionally, sometimes it's necessary to drill into the concrete adjacent to the house for greater effectiveness.

Termite Control with Baits

This method involves placing traps or baits around the house, which act as food that quickly and effectively kills termites.

Each type of treatment should be used depending on the type of termite and the problem. For example, drywood termites hide very well and can live in the wood without needing to go down to the ground, so the liquid treatment wouldn't work, but the tent treatment would. On the other hand, for subterranean termites, the tent treatment wouldn't be effective. The appropriate method would be the liquid treatment, as it is crucial to inject the termite nest directly, which can contain anywhere from 10 to 500 eggs.
